Wish With Precision
Here’s my experience…
Law of attraction, manifestation, meditations, chanting, affirmations, and more are just various terms used of the same universal law of what you’re thinking of and moving towards will come into being one day. I say this so strongly because of my experience.
Beginning 2020, I had set some very detailed goals for my brand in the music industry. One of my goals/wishes were to curate experiential gigs. But, this goal that I had set was for before the pandemic hit the world. That time the goal seemed very farfetched as the brand was just a few months old.
I, as a person, grow of out things quickly. Not because of my fickle mindedness (I guess) but because I work to grow as an individual daily, apart of just growing my ventures. I learn new things, get more perspective, and set new goals. Coming back to the set goal that I had of curating gigs; Going into the new year, I have numerous opportunities to curate shows with my brand having been grown in the past year. Yes, I worked on growing it, before I actually grew out of it. But, curating shows and doing gigs is not aligned with my vision as an individual. This is one of the major revenue sources I have created for myself. This set of time has come into being because I worked on it, intentionally for the first few months but then not so fondly for the last couple of months of 2020. This is because I had wished for this time to come into being, not so late though, but the world was a bit f*cked in the middle so yeah probably now was the right time for it.
Over the lockdown, my creative vision has taken a different direction. I care meek for the flow than the fame. I have been wanting to learn certain design skills but because of the lack of time with my other ventures, I have not been able to give all my attention to it. I still have love for the brand I have created, it’s my first baby, it’s doing wonders and I’m proud of it. But as a young creative, I have the time to explore and that is something I want to pay my mind to.
The flipside to this is, I know I will be able to achieve whatever I wish for and work towards. My experience has given me the confidence to wish and to be aligned with my goals. Though we will keep exploring the rest of our lives, but one thing is to think your decisions through. Wish well, wish with precision.
